Scranton Supernovas starter Heath Brown turned in an exceptional performance against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Nuclear Stadium, resulting in a Scranton win, 2-1. The 4th-place Supernovas improved to 42-36.
José Román was the walk-off hero for Scranton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Supernovas designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Juan Rodríguez.
