Sinor Excels in Scranton Win
|
The Scranton Supernovas handed the Tortolita Drummers a loss at Drummers Ballpark. The final score was 9-3. Robby Sinor was named player of the game for Scranton. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 2. He also added 2 bases on balls. Félix Aluonado earned his 2nd save in 3 tries. The Supernovas now have a record of 39-32 with the win over Tortolita.
In the top of the first, Sinor pounced on a 0-2 fastball from Will Hoffman and hit a 2-run home run. It put Scranton on top, 2-0.
"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Sinor told the Scranton News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
