It was a good time at Monster Field, where fans came to watch the Scranton Supernovas and Vermont Lake Monsters get after it.
The Vermont Lake Monsters handed the Scranton Supernovas a loss at Monster Field. The final score was 10-4. Cord Hosenbeck was named player of the game for Vermont. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 4. The Lake Monsters raised their record to 15-22.
The Lake Monsters grabbed the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out, Dusty Crum hit a 3-run home run off Alejandro Ramírez, putting Vermont in front, 4-3. For Crum, it was his 6th home run of the season.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Crum said.
