Knights Get Close Win Over Drummers
The Nolensville Knights stopped the Tortolita Drummers, 4-3, at Ballpark of Alloway. The Knights got a big game from Bob Hill, who went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win was Ken French's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Lester Broughton took the loss for Tortolita. Nolensville is now 10-13, while Tortolita is 11-12.

Nolensville took a 4-3 lead on Hill's 8th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Lester Broughton in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Nolensville to the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Hill told the Nolensville Daily News.
