White Walkers Topple Rainbow Mermaids with Late Rally
The Buffalo White Walkers had to overcome a big game from Northern Virginia right fielder Rob Brooks to leave Atlantica with a 6-4 victory. Brooks was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. Buffalo reliever Keith Rojas picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kent Randall absorbed the loss. Picking up the save was Kenji Aoki, his 8th.

Buffalo relied on the bat of Je-myung Yu to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 6-4. For the game, Yu had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Yu. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Buffalo goes to 41-13. The win puts them 9 games up in their division.
