Dodos Throttle Humpbacks, 10-1
|
The Hialeah Dodos topped the Alaskan Humpbacks, 10-1, with second baseman Dallas McMurran playing a big role. McMurran was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Dodos in the win. The win leaves Hialeah with a record of 4-5.
In the top of the first, McMurran pounced on a 2-0 sinker from Ratko Peric and hit a 2-run home run. It put Hialeah on top, 2-0.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Hialeah skipper Nick Allen.
