Despite a great performance by Forest City shortstop Armando Altagracia, the Sacramento Redlegs defeated the Warriors by the score of 7-5 at League Park. Altagracia went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. James McNeil got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Redlegs move to 41-50 with the win, while the Warriors drop to 57-34.
The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Qian-fu Zhou came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Forest City pitcher Arnie Harper, he hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Sacramento on top, 7-5.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Zhou.
