The Texas Bronze Sox got a strong performance from pitcher Sergio Gallegos, who stymied the Sacramento offense en route to a 3-1 win at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Armando Garay was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Bronze Sox go to 42-43, putting them 5th in the Premier AAA.

Texas needed the clutch hitting of John Ryan to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bronze Sox on top, 2-0. For the game, Ryan had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
