Lake Monsters Suffer 4-1 Loss to Humpbacks
|
Alaskan beat Vermont on the strength of starter Ratko Peric's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Peric picked up the win for Alaskan, going 5.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The win moves Alaskan to a record of 2-1.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Sea World seemed to enjoy watching the USSL Triple A action.
"Winning is contagious," said Peric. "We're looking forward to the next game."
