Disaster Come Back Late to Top Longnecks
Port Royal beat Bloomington on the strength of starter Thie Calkhoven's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Chenor Njie got credit for the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings. The Disaster bumped their record to 41-37 with this latest triumph.

The Disaster used some clutch hitting to beat the Longnecks, a good example being the at-bat of Sean Wallace in the bottom of the eighth. With two down, Wallace gave his team the lead, 5-3, when he hit a 2-run double.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Calkhoven told the Port Royal Citizen.
