Whales Win in Glorious Fashion
Lancaster third baseman Rafael Mastache had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Virginia Beach at Virginia Beach Grounds. Mastache went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win was credited to António Arrojo in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jesús Fregaso took the loss. The Whales saw their win-loss record go to 12-18. At the same time, the Farmers fell to 15-15.

Quitério Ruah was the walk-off hero for Virginia Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Whales center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
