Ramírez Delivers Walk-Off Win for Nobles
The Bakersfield Nobles overcame a good performance by Sacramento left fielder Yu Miao to knock off Sacramento, 6-5, at Jerome Grounds. Miao was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Bakersfield reliever Bing-zhong Qiu was the winner. His record is now 1-1. José Valdéz took the loss. The Nobles sit in 4th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 35-26.

Emílio Ramírez was the walk-off hero for Bakersfield. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nobles first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Ramírez said.
