The Sacramento Redlegs turned back the Texas Bronze Sox, 5-4, at Bronze Sox Park. Temaki Yuka was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. José Valdéz closed the game out for Sacramento, earning his 2nd save. The Redlegs now own a record of 24-26.

Sacramento used the timely hitting of Yu Miao to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Redlegs on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Miao. "And not try to do too much."
