Martínez Excels in Lancaster Win
The Lancaster Farmers downed the Northville Eclipse, 7-4, at Old-Timers Park. Enrique Martínez led the way, going 4-for-5 for Lancaster. Lancaster starter Jorge Souza was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. With the win over Northville, the Farmers improved to 10-12.

It could have been a different outcome for Lancaster, had it not been for Gerard Ibison, the 20-year old second baseman . Ibison contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Lancaster up, 1-0.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Martínez said.
