The Virginia Beach Whales topped the Casper Ghosts, 5-4, at The Graveyard. Virginia Beach left fielder Esteban Sifuentes earned player of the game honors. He banged out 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. Mike Park earned the save for Virginia Beach, his 5th of the year. Virginia Beach goes to 9-12, Casper to 11-10.
Sifuentes went 2 for 3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs against the Ghosts. With the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that scored 1 and put Virginia Beach in front, 5-4.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Casper manager José Zamora.
