Hollywood designated hitter Kanko Umaba was sensational. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Boston beat the Shredders, 9-7. Umaba was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Kelemeneke Balun in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Eric Mason took the loss. Boston now sits in third place in the Premier League at 26-18.

Boston relied on the bat of Jon Osterman to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Patriots ahead, 9-7. For the game, Osterman had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Osterman, "but we got it done."
