Camden hits 2 home runs, Warriors Move to 15-9
|
The Forest City Warriors stymied the Jersey City Tritons, 7-2, at Jersey City Grounds. Tom Camden, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Forest City. Clarence Miller, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 7.2 innings. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Forest City.
In the top of the first, Camden pounced on a 0-1 fastball from Paul Vereen and hit a 2-run home run. It put Forest City on top, 2-0.
