Lancaster got a terrific performance from third baseman Rafael Mastache, but it wasn't enough to beat the Atlantic City Sonics. Atlantic City won the Sonics Ballpark contest, 6-4. Mastache was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Heath Brown earned the win for Atlantic City. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 2-1. The Farmers fall to 4-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 2041 season.

John Clements hit a 2-run double off Tim Smith in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Sonics in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Clements had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Clements. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
