Longnecks Rally For Late Win Over Redlegs

Sacramento designated hitter Gabriel Anaya had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Anaya went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times, even as Bloomington beat the Redlegs, 7-6. Anaya was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Longnecks, now 14-6, have been playing some good baseball.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 6-6, right fielder Pedro Gutiérrez won it for Bloomington. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Gutiérrez hit a first pitch fastball from Philip Hynes for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 7-6 win.
Gutiérrez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
