Vázquez Delivers Walk-Off Win for Disaster
|
Getting an impressive start from Dan Bond, Port Royal beat Bloomington by the score of 3-2. The loss lowers the Bloomington record to 9-6.
Port Royal won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Tom Peña on the mound for Bloomington, pinch hitter Juan Carlos Vázquez hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Disaster fans to their feet.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Port Royal manager .
