Darrah goes 3-for-5 as Disaster Squeeze Past Baton Rouge
In a tight contest at Brass Field, the Port Royal Disaster edged the Baton Rouge Brass by the score of 7-6. Port Royal left fielder Anson Darrah, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Earning his 5th save of the year was Júlio Díaz. With the win, Port Royal improves its record to 6-4.

The Disaster got a big at-bat from first baseman Jaime Espinar. For the game, Espinar went 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 12th hit of the season gave Port Royal a 6-5 lead.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Baton Rouge manager José Reyes. "But we decided not to take it."
