Bloomington starter Domingo Montémayor had a strong outing against the Syracuse Starks at Lookouts Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Tom Peña finished to wrap up his 1st save. Bloomington, now 4-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

Cody Scott's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth was significant for the Longnecks. Coming to the plate with runners on 1st and 3rd and Bloomington trailing 2-1, the shortstop reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Scott told the Bloomington Today.
