Slooters Dominant in Nobles Victory

Jersey City had no answer for Bakersfield Nobles starter Peer Slooters, who flummoxed Tritons hitters as the Nobles cruised to a 8-0 victory. The win pushes Bakersfield to a record of 3-2.
Slooters, who was born in Willemstad, Curaçao, threw 93 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
