With first baseman Jaime Espinar leading the charge, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Texas Bronze Sox, 6-3, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Espinar, who is rated as the 6th best prospect by BNN, went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Júlio Díaz got credit for the save for Port Royal. It was his 2nd of the year. With the win, Port Royal elevates its record to 2-2.

Port Royal took a 6-1 lead on Espinar's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Doug Lane in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Port Royal to the win.
