Voodoo Get One-Run Win at Charleston
The New Orleans Voodoo had to overcome a big game from Charleston designated hitter Benno Luby to leave Charleston Armory with a 6-5 victory. Luby went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Kevin Nogilny was the winner. The result might have been different for New Orleans, had it not been for Júlio Sahagún, the 20-year old first baseman . Sahagún stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put New Orleans up, 2-1. For the game, he had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Sahagún said.
