Redlegs Topple Longnecks with Late Rally
The Bloomington Longnecks got a superb performance from right fielder Oscar Finley. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Sacramento. The Redlegs won the game, 6-4. In spite of the loss, Finley was named the player of the game. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. Sacramento reliever Hwen-thiang Goei was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Tom Peña took the loss. Eric Mason locked down his 1st save.

Sacramento used the bat of Gabriel Anaya to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Redlegs ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Anaya told the Sacramento Bulletin.

With the loss, Bloomington falls to 1-1.
