Buzz Reel Off Another Win
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Milton Dogfish Head, 5-4, in M3L Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern. The player of the game was Salt Lake City pitcher Ken Grant. Gary Podell locked down his 11th save. Salt Lake City is now riding a 6-game win streak.
Salt Lake City used the timely hitting of Oscar Henson to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Buzz ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Grant.
