Red Pandas Hang 6-2 Loss on Fog

Benefiting from Xu Cheng's productive game, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas downed the Sunset District Fog, 6-2. Cheng was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Red Pandas. The win was Barry Mullen's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Manny Burgos took the loss for Sunset District. Sioux Falls has now won 3 in a row.
Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Brit Davis to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Pandas on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I felt good up there," said Cheng. "I saw the ball well."
