The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds downed the Austin Black Mambas, 8-6, at Mamba Park. Sze Qi led the way, going 2-for-4 for Ellenburg. The win was Riley Evans's in relief. His record improves to 7-2. Bobby Roode took the loss for Austin. The Fighting Dachsunds now have a record of 51-45.

The most important at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Bobby Roode threw a 1-0 fastball to Qi, which he hit to center for a run-scoring triple. It put Ellenburg in front, 7-6.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Qi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
