|
Austin right-hander Chun-mei Bao made an effective start against the Athletic Club KC Reserves at KC Reserve Stadium, leading his team to a 4-3 win. The Black Mambas move to 50-39 with the win, while the Reserves drop to 37-52.
It could have been a different outcome for Austin, had it not been for Fergus Stidston, the 27-year old shortstop . Stidston contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Austin up, 4-1.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Bao told the Austin Observer.
