The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds and Pennsauken Flyers obliged those fans who came to Dog Park in Ellenburg hoping for an exciting game.

The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-4, in M3L Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg, with Ellenburg pitcher Jeff McDermott named player of the game. Tim Sandaele, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save.

Chet Clifton chipped in for Ellenburg with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Ellenburg manager Jason Stewart.

With the win, Ellenburg goes to 47-40, while the Flyers fall to 48-39.
