Victory Pushes Red Pandas Record to 47-40
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Milton Dogfish Head, 8-4, in M3L Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest, with Sioux Falls pitcher António García named player of the game. García, the winner, moves to 5-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 3 walks. Scott Colorado earned the save, his 17th, for the Red Pandas.
Júlio Rodríguez, who is tied for 8th in the 3AAA in home runs with 14, contributed to the Sioux Falls win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Willis Crawford said.
With the win, the Red Pandas have a record of 47-40.
