Sioux Falls Red Pandas starter Pete Rhue was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Calgary Lynx, 11-6. Natalino Golaio was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 4 save opportunities. The Red Pandas' win now puts them at 44-31.
Sioux Falls used the bat of Xu Cheng to capture the win. The center fielder jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"Feels good to get the job done," Cheng said after the game.
