Flyers Come Back Late to Top Coyotes
|
Pennsauken starter Tim Tate pitched effectively against the Hamilton Coyotes at Pennsauken Park. The left-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. The winner was Robert Karabanov in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Elroy Quaid took the loss. Hamilton's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
Ramón Muñóz drew 2 walks for Pennsauken. In the bottom of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 1-1, Muñóz delivered for the Flyers. His run-scoring walk put Pennsauken on top, 2-1.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Flyers manager Tony Romero, "I like our chances."
