The Hamilton Coyotes got a superb performance from pitcher Guy Walters. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Pennsauken. The Flyers won the game, 8-3. In spite of the loss, Walters was named the player of the game. He came in in relief and pitched to 23 batters . Pennsauken reliever Bradley Leeder picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-2. Iván Polanco was collared with the loss. The last-place Coyotes have dropped 4 straight games.

The Flyers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the second. With two out, Ruby Rhod, who is tied for 7th in the 3AAA with a 6 quality starts, hit a 3-run home run off Iván Polanco, putting Pennsauken in front, 7-0. For Rhod, it was his 6th home run of the season.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Rhod told the Pennsauken News.
