García Dazzles in Sioux Falls Win
|
Sioux Falls pitcher António García did his part in helping his team beat the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 5-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Natalino Golaio, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities. The third-place Red Pandas have won 4 consecutive games.
García, a native of Bogota, Colombia, was dealing all game. He kept Ellenburg hitters off-balance, while giving the Red Pandas 7 quality innings. García threw 90 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," García told the Sioux Falls News.
