Buffalo beat Cleveland on the strength of starter John A. Mais's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. Mais picked up the win for Buffalo, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Dread Roberts to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"I like our moxie," said White Walkers manager Chris Lau.
