The Fighting Dachsunds had to overcome a fine performance from Austin pitcher Jordan Coffey to grab a 7-1 win at Mamba Park. Coffey allowed no earned runs over 5.1 innings. Darwin Watson got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the Black Mambas to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 4. The wins continue to add up for Ellenburg, with the latest making it 8 in a row.

Ellenburg used the clutch hitting of Jesse Garrett to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Fighting Dachsunds ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
