A 3-RBI performance from first baseman Mike Johnstone led the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds to a 5-4 win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Ellenburg reliever Riley Evans picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Dejenie Afiba shouldered the loss. Ellenburg has 3 straight wins, Sioux Falls 3 straight losses.

Steve Albright went 1-3 for Ellenburg. The 31-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Fernando Padilla. It was his 14th RBI of the season.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Albright told the Ellenburg Times.
