Pride Roll Over Dogfish Head, 9-2
|
The 2041 season is getting ugly for Milton.
The Hartford Pride defeated the Milton Dogfish Head, 9-2, in M3L Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern, with Hartford pitcher Paul Dudding named player of the game. Dudding got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. Dudding allowed 2 earned runs.
Hartford used the timely hitting of Bellmay Blake to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Pride ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.
Blake told a Hartford Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
With the win, the Pride have a record of 6-16.
