Victory Over Voodoo Takes Buffalo to 22-6
|
The Buffalo White Walkers beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 6-2, at Beyond the Wall. The White Walkers got a fine performance from first baseman Eddie Sachs, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Brewster Warble earned the save, his 5th, for the White Walkers. Buffalo is now 22-6, 3½ games up in the Premier League.
José Santos put Buffalo in front, 3-0, when he took Will Hunting downtown. His 2-run home run came with no one out in the bottom of the second. It was his 5th home run of the season.
Sachs told a Buffalo Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
