Hot Start Continues for Flyers
|
The Pennsauken Flyers got a strong performance from pitcher Tim Tate, who stymied the Milton offense en route to a 4-1 win at Pennsauken Park. Pennsauken reliever José Salazar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dave Haynes was saddled with the loss. Pennsauken goes to 10-4 with the win.
Pennsauken took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, first baseman Fu-Kang Cuan hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
Cuan told a Pennsauken News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
