Black Mambas Get One-Run Win at Ellenburg
|
The Austin Black Mambas eked out a 6-5 win versus the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Nobody did more than pitcher Francisco Rivas, who captured player of the game honors. With the win, Austin boosts its record to 9-5.
Austin shortstop José González staked his team to an early lead in the top of the first inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run with the bases loaded.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," González said.
