Pride Throttle Coyotes, 7-0
|
Hartford starter José Correa had a strong outing against the Hamilton Coyotes at Pride Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-0 win. Correa got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Correa allowed no earned runs. Hartford is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 9 games.
Ramón Barbosa chipped in for Hartford with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Barbosa told the Hartford Today.
