The Pennsauken Flyers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ken Richmond, who muffled the Calgary offense en route to a tight 3-1 Flyers win at Lynx Stadium. The save went to Dale Hamilton, his 2nd this season. The Flyers, now 2-1, have been on a roll in the early going.

The result might have been different for Pennsauken, had it not been for Masamune Ueda, the 27-year old second baseman . Ueda stroked a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Pennsauken up, 3-1. For the game, he had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ueda.
