Shredders Take Nail-Biter Over Voodoo
The Hollywood Shredders eked out a 6-5 win versus the New Orleans Voodoo at The Hollywood Bowl. Nobody did more than pitcher Joy-shan Men, who captured player of the game honors. The Shredders move to 14-9 with the win, while the Voodoo drop to 13-10.

Hollywood won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Ted Chong on the mound for New Orleans, center fielder Takeshi Kovacs hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Shredders fans to their feet.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Men told the Hollywood Chronicle.
