The San Mateo Dirty Reds defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 9-8. Earning player of the game honors was designated hitter Palaie Gaoteote, who slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The winner was Faisal bin Nabeel in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Takejiro Masuda took the loss. San Mateo bumps their record to 45-62 with the win.

Gaoteote had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Takejiro Masuda, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Dirty Reds a 9-8 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Gaoteote.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Las Vegas manager JJ Hoban.
