Nashville got a strong outing from Forest Stanley as the Outlaws defeated the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-1, at Nashville Stadium. Stanley went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-7. The Outlaws improve their record to 40-58 with the win over Ft. Worth.

Nashville second baseman Broderick Sarcoma contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball into left field for a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Outlaws ahead, 3-1.

"I really like what we did out there today," Sarcoma said after the game.
