Season Ends for Máximo Luna of Germantown Tuesday, June 26th, 2040 The season is apparently over for Máximo Luna. The Germantown Uruguayans medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Luna was hurt in the game against Greenport while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date this year Luna has fashioned a 3.60 ERA over 10 innings with a 1-0 record. He has made 6 relief appearances with 14 strikeouts and no saves. |
