5-Hit Barrage by Torres Tuesday, May 22nd, 2040 The Germantown Uruguayans tripped up the Ladue Rams 5-1 today. The Uruguayans were led by Vicente Torres, their 19-year-old center fielder. Torres made life miserable for Ladue pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Vicente Torres singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Erik Jackson in the 9th.
